BabelNet was conceived within the Sapienza NLP Group at Sapienza University of Rome and is engineered and maintained by the Babelscape NLP company. Version 5.3 covers 600 languages and is built from the automatic integration of resources including WordNet, Open English WordNet, Wikipedia, OmegaWiki, Wiktionary, Wikidata, GeoNames, ImageNet, Open Multilingual WordNet, BabelPic, VerbAtlas, HeTOP Q-Codes, and translations from sense-annotated sentences.
